Responsibilities
- Design and execute advanced reservoir simulation models to optimize hydrocarbon recovery and enhance field economics
- Lead drilling programs for complex wells, including horizontal and multilateral configurations in challenging geological settings
- Develop production enhancement strategies through artificial lift systems and facility optimization
- Conduct economic analysis and feasibility studies for new exploration and development projects
- Mentor junior engineers and coordinate cross-functional teams to deliver project milestones
- Implement digital transformation initiatives using IoT, AI, and data analytics for predictive maintenance
- Ensure compliance with HSE standards and regulatory requirements across all operations
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Petroleum Engineering or related field (Master's preferred)
- Minimum 8 years of upstream oil and gas experience with deepwater or shale development expertise
- Proficiency in reservoir simulation software (Petrel, Eclipse, Nexus) and well planning tools
- Strong analytical skills for production forecasting and reserve estimation
- Professional Engineer (PE) license or eligible for registration in Texas
- Proven track record of successful project delivery in capital-intensive environments
- Experience with digital oilfield technologies and data-driven decision making
- Excellent communication skills for stakeholder engagement across technical and non-technical audiences
