Responsibilities
- Lead the design and execution of reservoir simulation studies to predict field performance and optimize production strategies.
- Develop and manage detailed field development plans (FDP) and drilling programs in alignment with corporate objectives.
- Analyze production data to identify trends, troubleshoot issues, and implement corrective actions to maximize asset value.
- Collaborate with geoscientists, drilling engineers, and operations teams to ensure integrated and efficient project execution.
- Conduct economic evaluations and cost-benefit analyses for new projects and equipment upgrades.
- Provide technical mentorship to junior engineers and participate in internal knowledge-sharing forums.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Petroleum Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred).
- Minimum of 8 years of progressive experience in upstream oil and gas operations, with a focus on reservoir engineering.
- Professional Engineering (PE) license is highly preferred.
- Proficiency in industry-standard software such as Petrel, Eclipse, CMG, or similar reservoir simulators.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data and generate actionable insights.
- Excellent communication skills, capable of presenting technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
