Responsibilities
- Design and optimize drilling programs for unconventional reservoirs using advanced simulation software
- Analyze production data to enhance recovery factors and reduce operational costs
- Lead multidisciplinary teams in developing field development plans (FDPs)
- Implement AI-driven reservoir monitoring systems for real-time decision making
- Ensure compliance with HSE regulations and industry best practices
- Mentor junior engineers and conduct technical training workshops
- Collaborate with geoscientists on integrated reservoir modeling
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Petroleum Engineering or related field (MS preferred)
- 10+ years of experience in upstream operations with deepwater and shale experience
- Proficiency in reservoir simulation tools (ECLIPSE, CMG, Petrel)
- Strong knowledge of drilling completions and hydraulic fracturing technologies
- PE license (Texas or ability to obtain within 6 months)
- Proven track record in reducing CAPEX/OPEX through engineering innovation
- Experience leading field development projects in the Permian or Eagle Ford basins
