Responsibilities
- Design and optimize advanced reservoir simulation models for unconventional shale plays
- Lead multidisciplinary teams in developing field development plans (FDPs)
- Implement enhanced oil recovery (EOR) techniques to maximize production
- Analyze well performance data using AI-driven analytics platforms
- Mentor junior engineers and conduct technical training sessions
- Ensure compliance with API and SPE industry standards
- Collaborate with geoscientists on seismic interpretation and prospect evaluation
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Petroleum Engineering or related field (MS preferred)
- 8+ years of experience in upstream oil and gas operations
- Proficiency in reservoir simulation software (e.g., Eclipse, Nexus)
- Strong knowledge of hydraulic fracturing and horizontal drilling technologies
- Proven track record in field development planning
- Professional Engineer (PE) license required
- Experience with digital oilfield technologies and IoT integration
