Responsibilities
- Design and optimize drilling programs for unconventional reservoirs using advanced simulation software
- Lead reservoir characterization projects integrating seismic data and well log analysis
- Develop production forecasting models to maximize recovery factors
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on well completion strategies
- Ensure compliance with HSE regulations and environmental standards
- Mentor junior engineers and conduct technical training sessions
- Present project updates to executive stakeholders and regulatory bodies
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Petroleum Engineering or related field (Master's preferred)
- Minimum 8 years of upstream oil & gas engineering experience
- Proficiency in reservoir simulation software (e.g., Eclipse, Petrel)
- Proven track record in horizontal drilling and hydraulic fracturing
- Strong knowledge of US regulatory frameworks (FERC, EPA)
- Professional Engineer (PE) license required
- Experience with AI-driven production optimization tools
- Exceptional problem-solving and communication skills
