Responsibilities
- Design and optimize enhanced oil recovery (EOR) techniques using reservoir simulation software
- Analyze production data to identify bottlenecks and recommend operational improvements
- Lead cross-functional teams for well completions and hydraulic fracturing projects
- Develop economic models for field development plans and capital expenditure proposals
- Ensure compliance with API standards and environmental regulations
- Mentor junior engineers and conduct technical training sessions
- Collaborate with geoscientists on reservoir characterization studies
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Petroleum Engineering or related field (MS preferred)
- 8+ years of upstream oil & gas experience with reservoir simulation
- Proficiency in industry-standard software (Petrel, Eclipse, CMG)
- Strong analytical skills with experience in production optimization
- Proven track record in leading multidisciplinary field development projects
- API 6A certification or equivalent professional credentials
- Ability to work in high-pressure environments with strict deadlines
- Excellent communication skills with stakeholder management experience
