Responsibilities
- Design and implement advanced reservoir simulation models for unconventional shale plays
- Lead multidisciplinary teams in well planning and hydraulic fracturing optimization
- Conduct economic analysis and production forecasting for capital projects
- Develop digital transformation strategies using AI/ML for predictive maintenance
- Ensure compliance with API and environmental regulations (EPA, TCEQ)
- Mentor junior engineers and conduct technical training sessions
- Collaborate with geoscience teams on integrated field development plans
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Petroleum Engineering or related field (MS/PhD preferred)
- 10+ years of upstream Oil & Gas experience with shale plays
- Expertise in reservoir simulation software (ECLIPSE, Nexus, tNavigator)
- Professional Engineer (PE) license required
- Strong project management skills with PMP certification
- Experience with digital oilfield technologies and SCADA systems
- Demonstrated success in reducing operational costs by 15%+
- Excellent presentation skills for stakeholder communication
