Responsibilities
- Design and optimize reservoir simulation models to enhance hydrocarbon recovery rates
- Lead well planning, drilling, and completion operations for offshore and onshore projects
- Analyze production data and implement enhanced oil recovery (EOR) techniques
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure compliance with HSE regulations
- Develop cost-effective strategies for field development and production optimization
- Mentor junior engineers and conduct technical reviews of engineering deliverables
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Petroleum Engineering or related field (Master's preferred)
- 8+ years of experience in upstream oil & gas operations
- Proficiency in reservoir simulation software (e.g., Eclipse, Petrel, Nexus)
- Strong analytical skills with experience in production forecasting and economic evaluation
- Professional Engineer (PE) license or equivalent international certification
- Proven track record in leading multidisciplinary engineering projects
- Deep understanding of US Gulf Coast regulatory frameworks
