Responsibilities
- Design and optimize drilling/completion programs for unconventional reservoirs
- Lead reservoir simulation studies using advanced software (Petrel, Eclipse)
- Conduct economic analysis for field development plans
- Mentor junior engineers and cross-functional teams
- Develop innovative solutions for enhanced oil recovery (EOR)
- Interface with clients to present technical recommendations
- Ensure compliance with HSE standards and regulatory requirements
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Petroleum Engineering or related field (MS preferred)
- 8+ years of experience in upstream operations
- Expertise in reservoir simulation and production forecasting
- Professional Engineer (PE) license required
- Proficiency in industry-standard software (Schlumberger suite, CMG)
- Strong project management and stakeholder communication skills
- Demonstrated success in optimizing field economics
- Understanding of emerging carbon capture technologies
