Responsibilities
- Design and implement advanced reservoir simulation models for unconventional assets
- Lead production optimization strategies for shale gas and tight oil formations
- Conduct economic analysis for drilling programs and field development plans
- Mentor junior engineers and cross-functional project teams
- Ensure compliance with API 14C and other industry safety standards
- Develop innovative solutions for enhanced oil recovery (EOR) techniques
- Present technical findings to executive stakeholders and regulatory bodies
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Petroleum Engineering or related field (MS/PhD preferred)
- 8+ years of upstream oil & gas engineering experience
- Expert proficiency in reservoir simulation software (e.g., Eclipse, Nexus, Petrel)
- Proven track record in unconventional asset development
- Professional Engineer (PE) license required
- Deep understanding of drilling completions and hydraulic fracturing
- Strong project management with PMP certification preferred
- Experience with digital oilfield technologies and data analytics
