Responsibilities
- Design and execute drilling programs for unconventional shale plays
- Develop reservoir simulation models to maximize hydrocarbon recovery
- Analyze production data to identify optimization opportunities
- Collaborate with geoscience teams on integrated field development plans
- Ensure compliance with HSE standards and regulatory requirements
- Mentor junior engineers through technical training programs
- Present technical findings to executive stakeholders
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Petroleum Engineering or related field (Master's preferred)
- 8+ years of upstream oil and gas experience
- Proficiency in reservoir simulation software (e.g., Petrel, Eclipse)
- Experience with horizontal drilling and hydraulic fracturing operations
- Strong analytical skills with data interpretation expertise
- Professional Engineer (PE) license required
- Proven track record in cost reduction and production optimization
