Responsibilities
- Design and optimize drilling programs for unconventional reservoirs
- Develop reservoir simulation models using industry-standard software (e.g., Petrel, Eclipse)
- Lead production enhancement initiatives through artificial lift systems
- Conduct economic analysis for field development projects
- Mentor junior engineers and cross-functional teams
- Ensure compliance with HSE standards and regulatory requirements
- Present technical findings to executive stakeholders and investors
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Petroleum Engineering or related field (MS preferred)
- 8+ years of experience in upstream operations with major E&P companies
- Expertise in reservoir characterization and well design
- Proficiency in reservoir simulation software (Schlumberger/Petrel, CMG)
- Strong project management with PMP certification a plus
- Deep understanding of US shale plays (Eagle Ford, Permian)
- Proven track record in reducing operational costs by 15%+
