Responsibilities
- Design and execute advanced reservoir simulation models for unconventional gas/oil projects
- Lead field development plans incorporating horizontal drilling and hydraulic fracturing
- Optimize production systems using real-time data analytics and SCADA integration
- Conduct economic feasibility studies for new exploration ventures
- Mentor junior engineers and ensure compliance with API/ISO standards
- Develop carbon capture strategies for enhanced oil recovery (EOR) operations
- Interface with regulatory bodies on environmental impact assessments
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Petroleum Engineering or related field (MS/PhD preferred)
- 10+ years of experience in upstream operations with 5+ years in leadership roles
- Proficiency in reservoir simulation software (e.g., Petrel, Eclipse, Nexus)
- Expertise in horizontal drilling completions and hydraulic fracturing design
- Strong analytical skills with experience in production forecasting models
- Professional Engineer (PE) license or equivalent international certification
- Deep understanding of HSE protocols and regulatory frameworks (API 65, OSHA 30)
