Responsibilities
- Design and optimize hydraulic fracturing programs using machine learning algorithms
- Lead reservoir simulation studies for unconventional assets with 1M+ BOE reserves
- Develop integrated production management systems reducing downtime by 40%
- Mentor junior engineers on digital twin applications for well performance
- Interface with AI development teams to implement predictive maintenance models
- Ensure compliance with EPA/DOE regulations and internal sustainability targets
- Present technical findings to C-suite and joint venture partners
Qualifications
- Bachelor's in Petroleum Engineering (MS/MBA preferred)
- 10+ years upstream experience with unconventional plays
- Expertise in reservoir simulation software (Schlumberger Petrel, tNavigator)
- Proven record of reducing lifting costs by 25% or more
- Professional Engineer (PE) license in Texas
