Responsibilities

  • Lead the design, execution, and interpretation of reservoir simulation studies using industry-standard software (e.g., Eclipse, CMG, or Petrel).
  • Develop and optimize production forecasts, decline curves, and economic evaluations for exploration and development projects.
  • Collaborate with geoscientists and drilling engineers to design well trajectories and completion strategies.
  • Perform reservoir characterization, including PVT analysis, rock typing, and fluid flow modeling.
  • Mentor junior engineers and provide technical guidance to cross-functional teams.
  • Ensure all engineering activities comply with HSE regulations and internal quality standards.
  • Present technical findings to senior management and stakeholders to support investment decisions.

Qualifications

  • B.S. in Petroleum Engineering or related field (M.S. preferred).
  • Minimum of 8 years of experience in reservoir engineering, specifically within Oil & Gas.
  • Strong proficiency in reservoir simulation software and data analysis tools.
  • Professional Engineer (PE) license is a significant plus.
  • Proven track record of managing field development projects and reservoir management plans.
