Responsibilities
- Lead the design, execution, and interpretation of reservoir simulation studies using industry-standard software (e.g., Eclipse, CMG, or Petrel).
- Develop and optimize production forecasts, decline curves, and economic evaluations for exploration and development projects.
- Collaborate with geoscientists and drilling engineers to design well trajectories and completion strategies.
- Perform reservoir characterization, including PVT analysis, rock typing, and fluid flow modeling.
- Mentor junior engineers and provide technical guidance to cross-functional teams.
- Ensure all engineering activities comply with HSE regulations and internal quality standards.
- Present technical findings to senior management and stakeholders to support investment decisions.
Qualifications
- B.S. in Petroleum Engineering or related field (M.S. preferred).
- Minimum of 8 years of experience in reservoir engineering, specifically within Oil & Gas.
- Strong proficiency in reservoir simulation software and data analysis tools.
- Professional Engineer (PE) license is a significant plus.
- Proven track record of managing field development projects and reservoir management plans.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to convey complex technical data to non-technical audiences.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment and travel to field sites as required.
