Responsibilities
- Design and implement advanced reservoir simulation models to optimize production strategies
- Lead multidisciplinary teams in field development planning and economic analysis
- Conduct well performance evaluations and recommend enhanced recovery techniques
- Collaborate with drilling engineers to ensure operational efficiency and safety compliance
- Develop and maintain reservoir management plans aligned with corporate objectives
- Prepare technical reports and presentations for executive stakeholders
- Mentor junior engineers and foster innovation in engineering practices
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Petroleum Engineering or related field (MS preferred)
- 8+ years of experience in upstream oil & gas operations
- Proficiency in reservoir simulation software (e.g., Eclipse, Petrel)
- Strong understanding of drilling engineering and well completion techniques
- Experience with economic modeling and production forecasting
- Valid P.E. license or ability to obtain within 6 months
- Demonstrated leadership in cross-functional project teams
- Knowledge of HSE regulations and industry best practices
