Responsibilities
- Design and implement advanced reservoir simulation models to enhance hydrocarbon recovery
- Lead multidisciplinary teams in drilling program optimization and production enhancement
- Analyze subsurface data using Petrel and RMS software for field development planning
- Develop economic models to evaluate project viability and ROI
- Mentor junior engineers and conduct peer reviews of technical documentation
- Collaborate with geoscientists on seismic interpretation and structural modeling
- Ensure compliance with HSE regulations and industry best practices
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Petroleum Engineering or related field (MS preferred)
- Minimum 8 years of upstream oil & gas experience
- Proficiency in reservoir simulation software (Schlumberger Petrel, RMS)
- Strong background in enhanced oil recovery (EOR) techniques
- Valid PE license (Texas or equivalent)
- Demonstrated project leadership in complex field developments
- Expertise in well completion design and hydraulic fracturing
- Experience with production forecasting and decline curve analysis
