Responsibilities
- Design and implement advanced drilling and completion strategies for unconventional reservoirs
- Lead reservoir simulation studies to maximize hydrocarbon recovery rates
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on field development plans
- Analyze production data to identify optimization opportunities
- Ensure compliance with environmental regulations and safety protocols
- Mentor junior engineers through technical guidance and knowledge sharing
- Develop cost-effective solutions for enhanced oil recovery (EOR) techniques
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Petroleum Engineering or related field (Master's preferred)
- 10+ years of experience in upstream oil & gas operations
- Proficiency in reservoir simulation software (e.g., Eclipse, Petrel)
- Strong understanding of horizontal drilling and hydraulic fracturing
- Professional Engineer (PE) license required
- Demonstrated project leadership in deepwater or shale plays
- Experience with production optimization and decline curve analysis
- Excellent problem-solving skills and technical report writing abilities
