Responsibilities
- Lead design and execution of large-scale infrastructure projects (transportation, water resources, structural systems)
- Oversee project lifecycle from feasibility studies through construction supervision
- Coordinate multidisciplinary teams including architects, environmental consultants, and contractors
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations (TxDOT, FEMA, OSHA)
- Develop cost estimates, schedules, and resource allocation plans
- Conduct site investigations and geotechnical analysis
- Implement sustainable engineering practices and LEED certification strategies
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering (PE license required)
- 8+ years of progressive experience in civil design and project management
- Proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D, Revit, and hydraulic modeling software
- Demonstrated success managing projects >$10M with complex technical requirements
- Strong knowledge of Houston-area infrastructure challenges and regulations
- Excellent communication skills for client presentations and stakeholder engagement
- Certification in PMP or sustainable design (LEED/AP) preferred
