Responsibilities
- Design and validate high-voltage electrical systems for renewable energy infrastructure
- Lead cross-functional teams in developing power electronics prototypes
- Conduct failure analysis and root cause investigations for complex electrical systems
- Mentor junior engineers and review technical documentation
- Collaborate with product teams to translate requirements into engineering specifications
- Stay current with IEEE standards and emerging energy technologies
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering (Master's preferred)
- 8+ years of experience in power electronics or electrical systems design
- Professional Engineer (PE) license in Texas
- Proficiency with AutoCAD, MATLAB/Simulink, and PSpice
- Experience with renewable energy systems or grid integration
- Demonstrated project leadership in product development cycles
- Strong analytical problem-solving skills and attention to detail
