Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end mechanical design lifecycle from concept validation to production release
- Develop detailed CAD models and technical documentation using SolidWorks and Creo
- Conduct FEA/CFD simulations for structural integrity and thermal analysis
- Collaborate with manufacturing teams to optimize DFM/DFA processes
- Prototype testing and validation in advanced materials lab
- Mentor junior engineers and drive continuous improvement initiatives
Qualifications
- Bachelor's in Mechanical Engineering (MS preferred)
- 8+ years in precision mechanical design for automation systems
- Expert proficiency in SolidWorks/CATIA with advanced surfacing
- Proven experience with FEA tools (ANSYS, Abaqus)
- GD&T certification and tolerance stackup analysis expertise
- Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes (injection molding, CNC)
- Track record of delivering complex electromechanical assemblies
