Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams across 15 countries to develop next-generation extraction techniques that balance operational efficiency with sustainability goals.
Responsibilities
- Design and implement advanced reservoir simulation models to optimize hydrocarbon recovery
- Lead feasibility studies for unconventional resource development (shale gas, tight oil)
- Develop production enhancement strategies including hydraulic fracturing and waterflood programs
- Perform economic analysis and risk assessment for capital projects exceeding $50M
- Mentor junior engineers and conduct technical reviews for regulatory compliance
- Coordinate with subsurface teams to integrate seismic data and well log analysis
- Drive digital transformation initiatives through AI-driven reservoir monitoring
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Petroleum Engineering or related field (MS preferred)
- 10+ years of upstream oil & gas experience with deepwater and unconventional assets
- Expert proficiency in reservoir simulation software (ECLIPSE, Nexus, tNavigator)
- Professional Engineer (PE) license required
- Proven track record in leading multidisciplinary field development projects
- Strong knowledge of SPE standards and API RP 43/44 protocols
- Experience with digital oilfield technologies and IoT integration
- Exceptional analytical skills with ability to communicate complex technical concepts
