Responsibilities
- Lead design and construction oversight of large-scale infrastructure projects including bridges, transit systems, and municipal utilities
- Develop innovative solutions for complex geotechnical challenges and sustainable urban development
- Manage multidisciplinary teams and coordinate with regulatory bodies (MTO, City of Toronto)
- Utilize BIM technology for 3D modeling and clash detection in complex projects
- Prepare detailed engineering reports, specifications, and cost analyses
- Mentor junior engineers and drive continuous improvement in engineering standards
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering with P.Eng. license (OACETT)
- Minimum 8 years of progressive experience in municipal infrastructure projects
- Expertise in AutoCAD Civil 3D, Revit, and geotechnical software
- Proven track record of delivering projects on time and within budget
- Strong knowledge of Ontario Building Code and provincial regulations
- LEED AP certification preferred with sustainability project experience
- Exceptional communication skills for stakeholder management
