Responsibilities
- Design and optimize high-voltage power distribution systems for commercial-scale renewable energy projects
- Lead PCB layout and circuit design for IoT-enabled smart grid infrastructure
- Perform electromagnetic interference (EMI) analysis and compliance testing for industrial automation systems
- Develop embedded firmware for real-time energy monitoring and control systems
- Mentor junior engineers and conduct technical reviews of design documentation
- Collaborate with mechanical teams on thermal management solutions for power electronics
- Research emerging energy storage technologies and propose implementation strategies
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering (Master's preferred) with 8+ years of experience
- Expertise in power electronics design and high-efficiency converter topologies
- Proficiency in Altium Designer, Cadence Allegro, and MATLAB/Simulink
- PE (Professional Engineer) license or ability to obtain within 6 months
- Experience with NEC/IEEE standards and industrial safety protocols
- Proven track record in renewable energy integration projects
- Strong analytical skills for troubleshooting complex electrical systems
