Responsibilities
- Design and optimize extraction plans for unconventional reservoirs using advanced simulation tools
- Lead multidisciplinary teams in executing field development strategies
- Analyze production data to identify enhancement opportunities and reduce operational costs
- Ensure compliance with API, NORSOK, and international safety standards
- Mentor junior engineers and conduct technical training workshops
- Collaborate with geoscientists on reservoir characterization models
- Prepare detailed well completion designs and hydraulic fracturing programs
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Petroleum Engineering or related field (MS preferred)
- 8+ years of experience in upstream oil & gas operations
- Proficiency in reservoir simulation software (e.g., Eclipse, Petrel)
- Strong knowledge of horizontal drilling and hydraulic fracturing techniques
- Certified Petroleum Engineer (PE) license required
- Demonstrated project management experience in field development
- Expertise in economic analysis and reserve estimation
- Ability to travel to remote field sites as needed
