Responsibilities
- Design and optimize reservoir development plans to maximize hydrocarbon recovery
- Lead multidisciplinary teams in well design, drilling operations, and production enhancement
- Analyze geological data, pressure systems, and production trends using advanced software
- Develop economic models and feasibility studies for new exploration projects
- Ensure compliance with HSE standards and regulatory requirements
- Mentor junior engineers and implement continuous improvement initiatives
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Petroleum Engineering or related field (Master's preferred)
- 8+ years of upstream oil & gas experience with reservoir simulation expertise
- Proficiency in PETREL, Eclipse, and industry-standard engineering software
- Strong analytical skills with proven project delivery success
- Valid PE license (Texas) or ability to obtain within 6 months
- Experience with unconventional resources (shale gas/oil) highly desirable
- Excellent communication skills for stakeholder engagement
