Responsibilities
- Design and implement advanced reservoir management strategies for unconventional assets
- Lead multidisciplinary teams in optimizing drilling/completion operations using software like PETREL and PIPE-FLOW
- Analyze production data to identify enhancement opportunities and forecast reserve volumes
- Develop economic models for field development plans (FDPs) with 10+ year outlooks
- Collaborate with geoscientists on seismic interpretation and geological modeling
- Mentor junior engineers and conduct peer reviews of technical documentation
- Ensure compliance with API, SPE, and environmental regulations
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Petroleum Engineering or related field (MS/PhD preferred)
- 8+ years of experience in upstream operations with unconventional plays
- Proficiency in reservoir simulation software (Eclipse, Nexus) and data analytics tools
- Strong understanding of hydraulic fracturing and horizontal drilling technologies
- Professional Engineer (PE) license or equivalent international certification
- Proven track record of delivering $5M+ CAPEX optimization projects
- Excellent communication skills for stakeholder presentations and technical reporting
- Experience working in cross-functional international teams
