Responsibilities
- Lead the architectural design and schematic capture of complex PCB power distribution networks.
- Perform comprehensive thermal and power integrity simulations to ensure system reliability.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate power sub-systems into hardware prototypes.
- Conduct root-cause analysis for system failures and implement robust design improvements.
- Manage the full product lifecycle from conceptualization through to production release.
- Mentor junior engineering staff on best practices for circuit design and regulatory compliance.
- Ensure designs meet strict safety and industry standards, including UL, IEC, and IEEE guidelines.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related discipline.
- 5+ years of professional experience in industrial or consumer electronics power design.
- Expertise in CAD software tools such as Altium Designer, Cadence Allegro, or OrCAD.
- Proficiency in simulation tools such as PSpice, LTspice, or Ansys SIwave.
- Deep understanding of SMPS (Switched-Mode Power Supply) design and high-efficiency converters.
- Strong problem-solving skills with a high degree of technical aptitude.
- Excellent communication and leadership capabilities to drive project success.
