Responsibilities

  • Lead end-to-end design and validation of high-voltage power conversion systems for solar/wind applications
  • Develop schematic designs and PCB layouts using Altium Designer and Cadence Allegro
  • Conduct thermal, EMI, and reliability testing in ISO-certified laboratories
  • Mentor junior engineers and review technical documentation for compliance
  • Collaborate with firmware teams to integrate embedded control systems
  • Research emerging semiconductor technologies and propose implementation strategies
  • Manage project timelines and resource allocation for concurrent deliverables

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field (Master's preferred)
  • 8+ years of experience in power electronics design (≥3kW systems)
  • Proficiency in simulation tools (PSpice, MATLAB/Simulink) and lab equipment
  • Expertise in IGBT/MOSFET switching topologies and magnetic component design
  • Strong understanding of UL 1741, IEC 62109, and NEC Article 705
  • Proven track record of bringing products from prototype to mass production
  • Experience with ISO 9001/14001 quality management systems
  • Excellent problem-solving skills with systematic root-cause analysis abilities
