Responsibilities
- Design and optimize drilling programs for unconventional reservoirs
- Develop reservoir simulation models to forecast production performance
- Lead feasibility studies for enhanced oil recovery (EOR) techniques
- Coordinate cross-functional teams for field development planning
- Analyze well performance data to recommend operational improvements
- Ensure compliance with environmental regulations and safety protocols
- Mentor junior engineers and conduct technical training sessions
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Petroleum Engineering or related field
- Minimum 8 years of upstream oil & gas experience
- Proficiency in reservoir simulation software (e.g., Eclipse, Petrel)
- Strong analytical skills with data interpretation expertise
- Professional Engineer (PE) license required
- Experience with horizontal drilling and hydraulic fracturing
- Demonstrated project leadership in complex environments
- Knowledge of emerging decarbonization technologies
