Responsibilities
- Design and oversee implementation of complex civil engineering projects using AutoCAD Civil 3D and Revit
- Conduct site investigations, soil analysis, and feasibility studies for infrastructure development
- Lead project teams in ensuring compliance with local, state, and federal regulations (TCEQ, FEMA, DOT)
- Prepare detailed construction documents, cost estimates, and project schedules
- Coordinate with clients, contractors, and municipal authorities to resolve technical challenges
- Mentor junior engineers and conduct quality assurance reviews of deliverables
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering from ABET-accredited institution (Master's preferred)
- Minimum 8 years of progressive civil engineering experience in infrastructure projects
- Professional Engineer (PE) license in Texas (or ability to obtain within 6 months)
- Expertise in hydraulic modeling (HEC-HMS, SWMM) and geotechnical analysis
- Proven track record managing projects exceeding $5M in value
- Strong proficiency in BIM/CIM technologies and construction management software
- LEED AP certification or equivalent sustainable design credentials
