Responsibilities
- Lead reservoir simulation studies and production optimization for unconventional assets
- Design and implement enhanced oil recovery (EOR) techniques to maximize field productivity
- Collaborate with geoscientists to integrate subsurface data into development strategies
- Manage drilling and completion programs for horizontal wells in complex formations
- Develop economic models and production forecasts for investment decisions
- Mentor junior engineers and conduct technical reviews of project deliverables
- Ensure compliance with HSE standards and industry best practices
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Petroleum Engineering or related field (Master's preferred)
- 8+ years of experience in upstream oil and gas operations
- Proficiency in reservoir simulation software (e.g., Eclipse, Petrel)
- Deep understanding of unconventional reservoirs (shale, tight sands)
- Proven track record in field development planning and execution
- Strong analytical skills with experience in production data analysis
- Valid PE license or ability to obtain within 6 months
- Experience with digital oilfield technologies and automation systems
