Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end product development lifecycle from concept to production
- Design and optimize mechanical components using CAD/CAE tools (SolidWorks, ANSYS)
- Conduct FEA/CFD simulations to validate performance under real-world conditions
- Collaborate with manufacturing teams to ensure DFM/DFA principles
- Develop test protocols and analyze prototype performance data
- Mentor junior engineers and review technical documentation
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering (MS preferred)
- 5+ years of experience in mechanical product development
- Expert proficiency in SolidWorks and simulation tools
- Strong knowledge of materials science and manufacturing processes
- Experience with automotive or industrial equipment design
- PMP or PE certification highly desirable
- Demonstrated problem-solving with complex mechanical systems
