Responsibilities
- Lead design and execution of large-scale infrastructure projects including highways, bridges, and water treatment facilities
- Perform advanced structural analysis using industry-standard software (AutoCAD Civil 3D, Revit)
- Manage project budgets, timelines, and resource allocation for multi-million dollar contracts
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local engineering regulations and safety standards
- Coordinate cross-functional teams including architects, environmental specialists, and government agencies
- Develop innovative solutions for complex engineering challenges in urban environments
- Mentor junior engineers and conduct quality assurance reviews of technical documentation
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field; Master's preferred
- Minimum 8 years of progressive experience in civil infrastructure design
- Professional Engineer (PE) license in Texas or ability to obtain within 6 months
- Expertise in hydraulic modeling, geotechnical analysis, and transportation planning
- Proven track record managing projects from conception to completion
- Strong proficiency with BIM/CIM technologies and construction management software
- Demonstrated success in securing regulatory approvals and permits
- LEED AP certification or equivalent sustainability credentials
