Responsibilities
- Design and optimize advanced drilling programs for shale gas and tight oil formations
- Develop reservoir simulation models to forecast production and recovery rates
- Lead cross-functional teams in implementing hydraulic fracturing innovations
- Conduct economic analysis for field development projects and expansion opportunities
- Mentor junior engineers and establish best practices for safety protocols
- Collaborate with geoscience teams to interpret seismic data and well logs
- Monitor production performance and recommend operational adjustments
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Petroleum Engineering or related field (MS preferred)
- Minimum 8 years of experience in upstream operations with shale plays
- Proficiency in PETREL, Eclipse, and CMG simulation software
- Professional Engineer (PE) license required
- Deep knowledge of hydraulic fracturing design and horizontal drilling
- Strong analytical skills with experience in production optimization
- Proven track record in leading multi-disciplinary field projects
- Familiarity with API and SPE engineering standards
