Responsibilities
- Design and develop complex electrical power distribution systems and control schemes.
- Conduct thorough load flow analysis, short-circuit studies, and reliability assessments.
- Lead research and development initiatives for grid-scale energy storage solutions.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure project milestones are met on time and within budget.
- Mentor junior engineers and provide technical guidance on electrical design best practices.
- Ensure all designs comply with local, state, and national electrical codes (NEC, IEEE).
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering (BSEE) or related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in power systems engineering or related roles.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD Electrical, ETAP, or equivalent design software.
- Strong understanding of IEEE standards and NEC codes.
- Project Management Professional (PMP) certification or PE License is a plus.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
