Responsibilities
- Design and validate high-reliability power electronics for aerospace applications
- Lead EMC/EMI testing per DO-160G standards
- Develop embedded firmware for motor control systems using C++
- Perform signal integrity analysis for high-speed PCB layouts
- Mentor junior engineers and review technical documentation
- Collaborate with mechanical teams on thermal management solutions
- Interface with FAA certification authorities
Qualifications
- B.S. in Electrical Engineering (M.S. preferred)
- 5+ years in aerospace/defense electronics
- Expertise in Altium Designer or Cadence Allegro
- Experience with MATLAB/Simulink modeling
- Familiarity with DO-160G and RTCA DO-178C
- Strong analytical skills for failure mode analysis
- Active PE license or ability to obtain within 6 months
