Responsibilities
- Design and implement advanced reservoir simulation models for enhanced oil recovery (EOR) projects
- Lead multidisciplinary teams in drilling program optimization and well completion strategies
- Analyze production data to identify bottlenecks and recommend performance improvements
- Develop economic models for field development plans and investment proposals
- Ensure compliance with API, SPE, and environmental regulatory standards
- Mentor junior engineers and conduct technical feasibility studies
- Collaborate with geoscientists on seismic interpretation and structural modeling
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Petroleum Engineering or related field (Master's preferred)
- 8+ years of upstream experience with major E&P operators
- Proficiency in reservoir simulation software (e.g., Eclipse, tNavigator)
- Strong analytical skills with production data interpretation expertise
- Professional Engineer (PE) license required
- Proven track record in horizontal drilling and hydraulic fracturing
- Experience with digital oilfield technologies and automation
- Ability to work in remote field locations for extended periods
