Responsibilities
- Design and implement advanced reservoir simulation models to maximize hydrocarbon recovery
- Analyze production data to identify optimization opportunities and cost reduction strategies
- Lead multidisciplinary teams in drilling program development and execution
- Develop and manage enhanced oil recovery (EOR) initiatives
- Ensure compliance with HSE regulations and industry best practices
- Mentor junior engineers and conduct technical feasibility studies
- Collaborate with geoscientists on subsurface characterization
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Petroleum Engineering or related field (Master's preferred)
- Minimum 8 years of upstream oil & gas experience
- Proficiency in reservoir simulation software (e.g., Petrel, Eclipse)
- Strong knowledge of drilling operations and completion techniques
- Experience with horizontal wells and unconventional resources
- Professional Engineer (PE) license required
- Proven project management skills in complex environments
- Ability to work in remote locations with flexible schedule
