Responsibilities
- Design and optimize enhanced oil recovery (EOR) techniques for unconventional reservoirs
- Lead reservoir simulation studies using advanced software (Schlumberger Petrel, Nexus)
- Develop well completion designs for horizontal and multi-lateral wells
- Analyze production data to identify operational inefficiencies and cost-saving opportunities
- Collaborate with geoscience teams to integrate seismic interpretation models
- Mentor junior engineers and present technical findings to executive stakeholders
- Ensure compliance with API standards and environmental regulations
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Petroleum Engineering or related field (Master's preferred)
- 8+ years of upstream oil & gas experience with unconventional plays
- Proficiency in reservoir simulation and production forecasting tools
- Strong analytical skills with experience in well performance optimization
- Proven track record in leading multi-disciplinary engineering projects
- Professional Engineer (PE) license in Texas
- Deep understanding of hydraulic fracturing and completions technologies
- Exceptional problem-solving abilities for complex field challenges
