Responsibilities
- Design and implement advanced reservoir simulation models to enhance field development strategies
- Lead cross-functional teams in drilling program optimization and production enhancement initiatives
- Conduct economic feasibility studies and reserve assessments for new exploration blocks
- Develop innovative well completion techniques to maximize recovery factors
- Ensure compliance with HSE standards and environmental regulations in all operations
- Mentor junior engineers and facilitate knowledge transfer through technical workshops
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Petroleum Engineering or related field (Master's preferred)
- Minimum 8 years of experience in upstream operations with E&P companies
- Proficiency in reservoir simulation software (e.g., Eclipse, Petrel, Nexus)
- Strong analytical skills with experience in production data analysis and forecasting
- Professional Engineer (PE) license or equivalent international certification
- Demonstrated project management experience in complex drilling/completion programs
- Deep understanding of unconventional resources (shale, tight formations)
