Responsibilities
- Design and optimize high-voltage power distribution systems for solar/wind farms
- Lead PCB layout and schematic capture for IoT sensor networks
- Perform electromagnetic compatibility (EMC) testing and compliance analysis
- Develop firmware for embedded control systems using C/C++
- Collaborate with mechanical teams on thermal management solutions
- Prepare technical documentation and patent disclosures
- Mentor junior engineers and conduct design reviews
Qualifications
- Bachelor's in Electrical Engineering with 5+ years of experience
- Expertise in Altium Designer and MATLAB/Simulink
- PE license or eligibility for Texas registration
- Strong knowledge of IEEE 1584 and NFPA 70E standards
- Experience with 3-phase power systems and inverters
- Proven track record in hardware bring-up and validation
- Excellent problem-solving skills for complex circuit diagnostics
