Responsibilities
- Design and optimize reservoir development strategies using advanced simulation tools (Eclipse, Petrel)
- Analyze production data to enhance recovery factors and maximize asset value
- Lead multidisciplinary teams in drilling and completion program optimization
- Develop well performance forecasts and economic models for field development plans
- Implement enhanced oil recovery (EOR) techniques in mature assets
- Ensure compliance with HSE regulations and industry best practices
- Mentor junior engineers and contribute to technical innovation initiatives
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Petroleum Engineering or related field (MS/PhD preferred)
- Minimum 8+ years of reservoir engineering experience in upstream operations
- Expertise in reservoir simulation software (Eclipse, Nexus, Petrel)
- Strong analytical skills with production data interpretation experience
- Proven track record in field development planning and economic evaluation
- Professional Engineer (PE) license or eligibility
- Excellent communication skills with ability to present complex technical concepts
