Responsibilities
- Design and optimize drilling programs to maximize hydrocarbon recovery
- Conduct reservoir simulation modeling using industry-standard software (Petrel, Eclipse)
- Analyze production data to identify enhancement opportunities
- Lead cross-functional teams in executing field development plans
- Ensure compliance with HSE regulations and environmental standards
- mentor junior engineers and support knowledge transfer initiatives
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Petroleum Engineering or related field (MS/PhD preferred)
- 10+ years of upstream oil & gas experience
- Proficiency in reservoir simulation and well design software
- Proven track record in field development planning
- Strong analytical skills with data interpretation expertise
- Professional Engineer (PE) license required
- Experience with unconventional resources (shale, tight formations)
