Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end mechanical design projects using SolidWorks and CATIA
- Perform FEA/CFD simulations for structural optimization and thermal analysis
- Develop detailed manufacturing drawings with GD&T specifications
- Collaborate with prototype teams for testing and validation cycles
- Mentor junior engineers and drive continuous improvement initiatives
- Interface with suppliers to ensure component quality and cost efficiency
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering (MS preferred)
- 5+ years of experience in mechanical design for aerospace/automotive
- Expert proficiency in CAD software (SolidWorks/CATIA) and FEA tools
- Strong knowledge of materials science and manufacturing processes
- Experience with GD&T and ASME Y14.5 standards
- Proven project leadership with PMP certification preferred
