Responsibilities
- Lead design and analysis of complex civil infrastructure projects including highways, bridges, and municipal water systems
- Develop detailed engineering plans using AutoCAD Civil 3D and Revit BIM software
- Manage project lifecycle from conception through construction administration
- Coordinate with regulatory agencies (TxDOT, FEMA, USACE) for compliance and permitting
- Conduct site investigations, geotechnical analysis, and feasibility studies
- Mentor junior engineers and foster collaborative team environment
- Implement sustainable design practices and LEED certification standards
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering (Master's preferred)
- PE license in Texas with minimum 8 years progressive experience
- Expertise in structural design, hydraulic modeling, and transportation planning
- Proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D, Revit, and hydraulic modeling software
- Strong knowledge of IBC, AASHTO, and TxDOT standards
- Proven track record of managing multi-million dollar infrastructure projects
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Effective communication and stakeholder management abilities
