Responsibilities
- Design and implement advanced reservoir simulation models using PETREL and Eclipse software
- Optimize drilling programs and well completions for maximum efficiency and cost reduction
- Analyze production data to identify enhancement opportunities and recommend field development plans
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on ESG initiatives and sustainable extraction methods
- Lead feasibility studies for unconventional resources (shale gas, tight oil)
- Mentor junior engineers and conduct technical training sessions
- Prepare detailed engineering reports and regulatory compliance documentation
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Petroleum Engineering or related field (Master's preferred)
- 8+ years of upstream experience with major E&P operators or service companies
- Proficiency in reservoir simulation software (PETREL, Eclipse, CMG)
- Strong analytical skills with production optimization methodologies
- Experience with horizontal drilling and hydraulic fracturing techniques
- Professional Engineer (PE) license required
- Proven track record in reducing operational costs by 15%+
- Knowledge of emerging carbon capture technologies in oil & gas
