Responsibilities
- Design and execute field development plans for unconventional reservoirs
- Conduct reservoir simulations and production forecasting using industry-standard software
- Lead well optimization programs to enhance recovery factors
- Analyze production data to identify improvement opportunities
- Develop cost-effective drilling/completion strategies
- Mentor junior engineers and support technical training initiatives
- Ensure compliance with environmental regulations and safety protocols
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Petroleum Engineering or related field (Master's preferred)
- 8+ years of upstream oil & gas experience with unconventional plays
- Expertise in reservoir simulation (Petrel, Eclipse, Nexus)
- Strong background in well design and hydraulic fracturing
- Proven project leadership in field development
- Professional Engineer (PE) license required
- Advanced proficiency in data analytics tools
- Experience with A&D workflows and economic modeling
