Responsibilities
- Design and implement advanced reservoir simulation models to optimize production strategies
- Lead multidisciplinary teams in developing drilling and completion plans for unconventional reserves
- Analyze production data to identify enhancement opportunities and cost-reduction measures
- Ensure compliance with HSE regulations and sustainability standards across operations
- Mentor junior engineers and contribute to technical knowledge sharing initiatives
- Collaborate with geoscientists and drilling engineers on integrated field development plans
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Petroleum Engineering or related field (Master's preferred)
- Minimum 8 years of experience in upstream oil & gas operations
- Proficiency in reservoir simulation software (e.g., Eclipse, Nexus, Petrel)
- Strong analytical skills with experience in production optimization techniques
- Valid PE license or ability to obtain within 6 months
- Demonstrated project leadership in complex field developments
- Knowledge of emerging carbon capture and storage technologies
