Responsibilities
- Lead reservoir simulation studies using advanced software (Petrel, Eclipse) for unconventional shale plays
- Optimize hydraulic fracturing designs through real-time data analytics and machine learning integration
- Develop carbon capture utilization (CCUS) strategies for existing infrastructure
- Mentor junior engineers while implementing digital transformation initiatives
- Interface with government agencies for environmental compliance and permitting
- Present technical findings to executive stakeholders and industry consortiums
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Petroleum Engineering or related field (Master's preferred)
- 8+ years of upstream experience with deep unconventional plays
- Professional Engineer (PE) license or equivalent international certification
- Expertise in reservoir simulation, well design, and production optimization
- Proficiency in Python/R for data analysis and machine learning applications
- Strong track record in reducing environmental footprint through technology innovation
- Valid driver's license and ability to travel to field sites (up to 20%)
